The Hilltopper Nation witnessed WKU making history with a victory over Middle Tennesee 20-17.

#7 K.J. Black was 5-7 74 yards 1 TD 0 INT.

#1 Tyrell Hayden led the Hilltoppers in rushing accounting for 144 yards on 23 carries and 1 TD.

#11 Jake Gaebler also had 3 catchers for 61 yards. Gaebler caught the winning touchdown pass despite double coverage all over him.
#15 Curtis Hamilton caught 5 passes for 47 yards and #28 Stephen Willis had 1 reception for 4 yards.

#6 Blake Boyd led the defense with 7 solo tackles, 3 assists and 2 TFL.
13 Andre Lewis recorded 6 solo tackles and 3 assists and 1 TFL. #5 Bo Smith made 7 solo tackles, 1 assist and 1 TFL. #53 Dusty Bear made 5 solos, 2 assists and 1 TFL.

Special teams again performed very well. #83 Chris James connected on 2 of 3 field goals made all PATS. #44 Jeremy Moore punted 3 times for 109 yards for a 36.3-yard average.

As the Raiders last attempt to escaped defeat missed the mark, the Hilltopper Nation exploded into jubilant celebration. This is a huge win for WKU football. On this night, WKU made history!
