The Hilltoppers ruined Indiana States homecoming by totally dominating the Sycamores the entire game. WKU moved the ball with ease scoring on their first seven possessions. With a score of 42 to 0 at halftime, there was little doubt in the outcome. QB 3# David Wolke got the start today and led the Hilltoppers with 72 yards rushing on 11 carries. The running game was in high gear all game long as a host of Hilltoppers produced an astounding 380 yards on the ground. #41 Marrell Booker 69 yards, and #1 Tyrell Hayden 68 yards, led the Hilltopper running back corp. QB #7 K.J. Black contributed 65 yards rushing and combined with Wolke to add 130 yards passing to the offensive totals. #86 Quinterrance Cooper led the receiving corps with 3 catches for 40 yards. WKU had an impressive 510 yards of total offense. Five different Hilltoppers reached pay dirt as WKU had its way with ISU's defense all game long.

The defense also played a dominating day of football by limiting ISU to only 279 total yards. Leading the defense was #13 Andre Lewis and #6 Blake Boyd with 6 tackles each and #23 Clint Mitchell logging 5.

#90 Dan Cline and #13 Andre Lewis each had fumble recoveries and #5 Bo Smith, #30 Brad Cloud and #49 Chris Bullard recorded interceptions giving the defense a total of five for the game.

Head Coach David Elson wanted to see the Hilltoppers improve this week by not turning the ball over or committing penalties. WKU improved in both areas today and dominated the Sycamores for four quarters.

After being on the road for four straight games, WKU will play North Carolina Central at home next weekend.
