WKU won a close game over Chattanooga Saturday. The Hilltoppers would not be denied and secured their sixth win of the season.

The Hilltopper win set the stage for one of the biggest games to ever on the WKU campus. Troy is coming to town for a collision with the Hilltoppers. It is homecoming week and WKU has the opportunity to win its seventh game of the season and continue its home-unbeaten streak.

This game is exactly what Head Coach David Elson had in mind with the move to 1A. Troy is the best team in the Sun Belt conference this season and was the co-champion of the conference last year. The Trojans will be smarting from the loss to Georgia this past weekend and will have their heart set on getting back on track this weekend against WKU.

Fans can have a hand in making history with being a part of the largest crowd to attend to a football game in Western Kentucky history.

Hilltopper fans circled this game, without a doubt, before the season started. Fans have been waiting for this game with eager anticipation all season. The Hilltopper Nation seems to be looking forward to showing the top team in the Sun Belt what WKU is bringing to the conference. Not only a top notch football program but a fan base that is ever bit as loud, loyal and classy as any in the Sun Belt.

As each game passes the Hilltoppers come closer and closer and to reaching their goal of making history. This Saturday's homecoming game against Troy is what making history is all about.
