2006: Garnered second-team Coaches’ All-SEC honors…Made his 14th-consecutive start of the season at right guard in Florida’s win over Ohio State that brought home the national title…The Gators carried 38 times for a season-high 235 yards and two touchdowns against Kentucky…Played a key role in UF gaining 204 rushing yards on 36 carries for a 5.7-yard average versus UCF…Drew the starting assignment at right guard in the 34-7 win over Southern Miss.

2005: Saw action in all 12 games, starting the first four games of the season at guard…Had his best game against Georgia, earning SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors.

2004: Saw action in four games (Eastern Michigan, Middle Tennessee State, Vanderbilt and South Carolina) for 28 plays…Saw first career action versus Eastern Michigan, recording one knockdown in career-high 12 plays…Participated in one play at Vanderbilt and three snaps vs. South Carolina.

High School: Played tackle at Riverview high school. High school teammate of former Gator offensive lineman Steve Rissler…Graded out at nearly 90 percent as a junior and had 70 pancake blocks…One of the top shot putters in the state with a toss of 53-0 and has thrown the discus 152-0…Won the district in both events his senior year…An Olympic style weightlifter (a style that combines clean and jerk as well as snatch lifting)…Holds the Florida state records in snatch and clean and jerk as well as total (combines the two)…State champion the four years in Florida…Qualified for five-straight national championships…Started lifting at age 12…Also considered FSU, Miami, Tennessee and Georgia…Football coach was John Sprague.
