| Biography: |
| Smith put up outstanding numbers as a defensive end for Mays as a senior. He had 125 tackles (75 solo) and 22 tackles for loss. He also had 12 sacks, and earned a spot in the Georgia North-South All Star game. Smith was also an All-City and All-State selection.
That followed a junior campaign in which he made All-City and All-County.
